Econt Express Environmental Sustainability Policy
Econt has repeatedly demonstrated that customer care comes first. However, often preoccupied with the dynamism of our daily lives, it seems we pay less attention to what is happening around us. The study of natural cataclysms and the too-rapid changes in the surrounding environment made us realize that we all stand together “on the other side” – we are the “clients” of the Earth. The earth offers us its riches and we use them as we like. Often this use is in an unreasonable way, as it turns out, because today everyone talks about pollution, the despoliation of forests, water and air. The realization of this problem is a matter of perception and willingness to act, and of empathy towards what is happening around us.
We would like to bring to your attention the Econt Express’ Environmental Sustainability Policy.
We cannot easily define the beginning of the policy – we started a long time ago with the realization of several seemingly insignificant ideas, which have a great potential: minimizing the use of printer paper by issuing electronic invoices, as well as replacing the classic cardboard envelopes with ones made of recycled paper.
We collect waste separately and re-use or recycle whatever we can.
We optimize the routes of our vehicles, so that they will use less fuel and limit air pollution.
For the project implementation we have planned a series of activities from planting trees to promoting engine-free travel.
